.
But the use of the word 'beta' in general too. In this case though, I have to agree that Sony should have had all of these issues ironed out over the year..
We had months of anti 360 news and all the european/asian PS3 fanboys would get on the band wagon before the anti-ps3 lobby from NA would get out of bed.
I just find this whole thing very amusing, it's time for the PS3 to take a bashing, next month it'll prob be back to the 360.. lol
And the Wii sits there quietly in the corner looking all cute and friendly.. ;-)
Try telling that to the moderators..
This isn't a one-off occurence.
Back to the days of cassette tapes in the 80's..
But still good news for console gaming, more squeeze on MS & Nintendo from Sony..
Here, I cut and pasted a bit for you both..
"In case you haven't heard, Sony has sounded the financial alarm. The Titanic is sinking.
Sony is hemorrhaging cash. No time for a price cut."
Don't fret, that was just from a user post..
Though the article does site the massive parts reduction enabling a cost reduction which can only mean a good thing for all of us..
Because it's free. With xbla, the violator stands to lose his pre-paid subscription money, but with PS3, they can just re-create a new PSN account and get back online..
It's a good thing it's free, but this kind of control I think will be harder to maintain because it is.
.
Kotaku are reporting that unfortunately for Sony, the 360 is getting good floor space in this particular store even though only 10 people showed up on launch day. This is classic MS marketing machine buying it's way in and Sony need to retaliate.
This is more news than the 'Why I think this is going to be the best year of my favourite company on the planet', or why 'Toast tastes better whilst playing my favourite game in bed' etc., etc., kinda 'blah' articles I keep seeing on he...
Moving from VHS to DVD was a must, no more chewed up tapes, no more broken tapes, or creased tapes. No tracking issues.
How many DVDs of Dark Knight sold compared to Blu-ray?
You mentioned gamestation but not game?
I heard it was 1 pound but that included the debt.
Just when I bought a couple of 360's, I found out that Zavvi were still doing the arcade for 99 something.. Mind you, I got the arcade with a free fifa 2009 game anwyay..
But a real shame for a virgin arm flogged for 1.00 by virgin not that long ago..
Thanks for your words of wisdom.
They sounds more like words of jealousy.
By the time devs get the hang of coding for the PS3, the next xbox will be out and likely all the games will upscale to give better graphics and frame rates, as the original xbox games did on the 360.
Either way, Don't know the 360 because it's done increadibly well and MS have learnt alot from it. As I'm sure Sony have from the PS3.
I think the CEO is saying that to explain the poor results for EA. We all know the true reason...
The pound isn't overly strong at the moment..
Because they are that good!
Why, WHY? Would anyone want more than a few gig of music with them it fails to be clear to me.
Who would want their entire music collection on a portable device that can be a) nicked, b) lost, c) Dropped regularly.
Gimme a solid state 4gb device and a raid5 NAS server at home anytime. That's the way to go..
